Life has been very hectic, even in the midst of the march holidays, which is in fact not really a holiday. -.-

Camps:

SOE Leadership Camp

It was a very different kind of camp compared to our normal have fun ones.

GREAT WALL OF CHINA now has a different totally meaning to me now.

Thanks to ZUL, my instructor who facilitated us throughout the camp.

We were Group 2: NO COMMENTS.

Cheryl (Best Female Camper),
Dan Fu(Whom shaped his own future),

Luqman(Our Rapper),
Arif ( sociable guy),
Jonas ( whom i learnt valuable lessons from),
Miso( Who is becoming independent) and
Fong Zun( whom is getting back on track).

First impression counts. But what comes after is much more important.
Beneath every smile lies a different story. We dont always have a chance to hear about it.
But when we do, we learn lessons that are never taught in school.
This is what makes us grow to become a better person. so its never judge a book by its cover from another POV.

As of the camp, we're not campers, but leaders who will be leading freshies in the upcoming camp.

First day was practically speechless, as most of the group members didnt speak much. -.-
Another simpler version of GREAT WALL OF CHINA A.K.A SQUEEZE, SPREAD. -.-
This activity brought our group much closer then day 1 and we won the group dance! ! !
So this year's mass dance is our group dance! Roar! THAT THING YOU DO.

To a friend of mine, i'm sorry for your loss. Nobody could have expected it. I'm really sorry i couldnt help during that time. You have to stay strong. You MUST stay strong. We'll be here for you to depend on. Hopefully, your pain will go away with time.

To a friend of mine who just broke up, I know its not going to be easy on you, but take some time off to heal yourself. Time heals all wounds. Dont think too much and rest well alright?

Yesterday, a toddler walked out from the library in westmall. He held up his hand to me, as though asking for mine, until his dad came and carried him.

ITS MR THIO IN THE HOUSE!

Recently had a chance to emcee MDE prize presentation event, and its so fun!
Met my never seen before mentor and had the chance to put on the school blazer! :D

Thks to Fusen, Lok yiu, and my tag-team emcee Shun Qing!
Next time, i would be the one going up the stage to receive the prizes. :P

My Cousin got married and he invited us.
Finally, we are left with 2 more male heirs to get married before my turn. Haha
It was very exciting cuz there were people from other countries as well. CooL!
It ended very nicely with all the Aunts and Uncles taking photos as well. :D

DRAMA Drama drama
Today has been a very unique day.
After school me and nic planned to go to far east.
But then we wait for the 61 bus.
First bus full so we walked down to the Shell station bus-stop.

Then something funny happened.
Before we walked down, we already saw lightning at the far end of Bukit Timah Plaza.
End up we walking down that time keep having the thought of being striked by it. LOL!
Halfway down the road, we saw that the BTP area was raining. -.-
Like that still never mind.
Right in front of us, we saw the raining making its way in our direction!!!
LOL! This is no joke!
The rain was heavy until you use umbrella also will be drenched from your head down.
So we hit the rain head on until we reached the bus-stop in front.

Once there, we were drenched like pui.
Then within 5 minutes, the heavy rain was over, moving towards other places. -.-
So we continue to try to chiong to the shell but stopped for shelter under the flyover cuz there was too much lightning and all.
Finally, we got on the bus to Westmall to dry ourselves there.
Then we seperated at the Raffles MRT. :D

WOOO! Today had a new haircut.
Its very different from what i had before.

Nicholas said that its Fate that we had to experience the rain.
I strongly believe its Fate for what happened today.

Simple coincidences just makes you feel so happy. :D

INTER-VARSITY POLYTECHNIC GAMES

( A.K.A IVP )

An annual Track and field event which all the Polytechnics, Universities and ITEs take part in.

Results Ranking:
1) NUS
2) NTU
3) SMU
4) NP
5) ITE

This year's IVP has really been an eye-opening event. Being my first time participating in this event, i was awed by the really good runners and even had the chance to run with them too!! It was held at the Bukit Gombak stadium for 2 consecutive Saturdays. All the events were very nice to watch but taking part in it was very very tiring. Of all the races i ran, the closest i got to a 3rd place medal was by a difference of 0.1s for my 4 x 100m relay, which was also due to a blunder i made. T-T But oh well! Congrats to the girls and guys who got top 3, you were all STUNNING! lOL. The best part was that our Track and Field team was very fun and everyone got high together! :D

After the last day of IVP, we all had a buffet at the SAKURA restaurant at Clementi which was a first for me. We also celebrated Gabriel's Birthday!!! He's our Track and Field president and hes cool. Hahahahaha! All of it was just Fun Fun and more fun! Many Many Thanks to all our seniors: Kanglun, Gabriel , Graig, Bingchie and Dexter for giving so much advice to us!!! And our Coach Rocks TOO!!!! Coach QI!!!! WOOO~ We also have very cool 2nd year seniors such and Anthony, Eugene and alot more!~ But not to forget, all us year ones juniors!!!

We are made up of....
Fucheng, Yongzhi, Shuan, Ashley, Nicholas, Sinhung, Junjie, Leslie, Joshua, Don, Yixin, Brenda, Liesl, Kimberly, Cassandra, Patrick, Yuyang, Andy, Weiyang, Weihao and somemore but i just cannot remember now. HAHAHAHAHA!

Its so enjoying to be just around these people that i'm loving Track and Field more and more.
This post is also dedicated to all of them and lets all work hard for every event we have coming up.

Really its spectacular.
The noise that it makes is so deafening,
that it is really remarkable feat how those people could stand long hours there.
But its quite a unique sight in Singapore. :D
oh! And there were quite a number of AM selling yellow cow tickets just right beside the ticket booth. That's something.

Today was the actual Nike Human Race event!!!
It was so so so exciting!
I was sent to helpout at the Urban stage where ppl did breakdance and beat-boxing!
Way cool!

After everything was done we attended the concert with Djs such as Utt and lots more local band like the great spy experiment and boys like girls.
After which we packed up everything, collected pay and went home.

Met Ching yang and Marcus during preparation!
what a surprise. lOL

Today was a rather complex day.
Being late because of taking 188.
When it passed by where we once tread upon, it rained.
Everything was supposed to be kept away deep inside.

Although there was a feeling that smth would be happening,
but it came as a surprise.
Glad that she's fine and all.
Being happy for others.. Thats how it feels like. :D

This week has been busy busy busy!

And of course! Teacher's day celebration!
Met up with a whole lot of ppl and collected everything required.

The final assignment for this semester has been finished and presented.
Finally, its a free-man period.

Today had dinner and movie with my partner(Huiyi) and Xinyi.
We saw commonwealthians that did not look like the stereotype commonwealthians as well as ex-commonwealthians.
Pastamania and Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was in our schedule.
Glad to have met up and catch up on their current life. =)
They sure are very like JC students in the cinemas.
First time three people squeezing in a couple seat. LOL!

But it was very very enjoyable.
The Mummy 3 seems more of a comedy then thrilling movie.

Let's start with a simple post..
about Tiramisu!

Its a popular italian dessert made of ladys finger dipped coffee and marscarpone cream, occasionally with a lil rum in it.

Simply speaking, its delicious.

This was from Cineleisure's Pastamania.

Its bout 4 bucks and comes with in a glass-like cup.

The taste of rum makes a tingling sensation in your mouth.

It gives you a light but rich taste of cream and coffee.

Definitely worth trying.
